Last August, I broke my leg, a diagnosis: an ankle fracture. I was given a cast, 3 months later, the doctors said it all grew together.
But a whole year has passed, and the area of the fracture swells and it hurts. On X-rays, according to doctors, everything is in order and they do not know what such symptoms are.
Tell me, please, how to get rid of edema and constant pain.
What physical load is acceptable in this state?
How to get rid of the pain and swelling of the ankle after a fracture?

A whole year edema? This is something too much. Try to contact an advisory polyclinic of some decent center to a traumatologist.

Fracture of the ankle is very problematic, even afterseveral years of trauma makes itself felt. You can use ointment from a mixture of spruce resin and copper sulfate. Ointment is obtained very hot, but much accelerating the healing process of bone tissue. It is prepared as follows: mixing 20 grams of spruce resin with a finely shredded onion, 15 grams of copper sulfate and 50 grams of olive oil are added. The resulting mixture should be held over the fire without bringing to a boil, and then applied to the ankle.
