Edema in the mountains
Recently, the duty department of the Nakhimov police department of the Ministry of Internal AffairsUkraine in Sevastopol (Crimea) received information from an emergency nurse that a two-month-old baby was found dead in a private home. On the scene immediately went investigative-operational group. As it turned out, the child was not even registered with the registry offices.
As reported by the police, the 39-year-old mother together withlived in a rented room. The woman did not become registered in pregnancy, the doctors did not observe her. The grief-mother did not work anywhere and constantly abused alcohol.
Only her friends knew about her pregnancy. On the day of birth, the woman went with them to rest on the mountain "Magnup-Kale", where everyone consumed alcoholic beverages. There in unsanitary conditions a baby was born. A few days later, when the birth of a baby was learned by the employees of the service for children, the mother and her child were forced to apply to a medical institution. In the children's city hospital, the boy was diagnosed with pneumonia and congenital heart disease. Doctors appointed a course of treatment. However, the mother decided that she would cope on her own and take the child home. After 3 days, the baby died, - reported to the DSP of the Ministry of Internal Affairs in Sevastopol.
According to the preliminary conclusion of the doctors, the boydied as a result of cerebral edema. It turned out that this woman is not the first woman. Because of her destructive craving for vodka and immoral behavior, she was deprived of parental rights for her four older children. Now they are adopted by adoptive parents.
According to the Acting. the head of the criminal police department for children affairs of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine in Sevastopol, Dmitry Shevchuk, the materials of the investigation were sent to the city prosecutor's office. To date, the issue of initiating a criminal case against a grieving mother on the basis of the crime provided for in Article 166 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine - malicious failure to fulfill the responsibilities for caring for the child, has entailed grave consequences. The sanction of this article provides for imprisonment from 2 to 5 years.
