Little water swelling

Water and swelling during pregnancy, gestosis

Gestosis, salt and liquid restriction, Laman diet, "diuretic herbs" and treatment of edema in pregnant women in the light of modern medical science.

Fear was afraid where there is no fear (Psalm 13: 5).

Being on medical business in Germany andHolland, I learned and very appreciated one of the principles of education in these countries (teaching in general and midwifery, in particular). This - "always doubt, check and do not trust anyone for nothing". No textbook, no teacher, no authoritative magazine, no light. Study the question yourself and make up your mind. There are libraries with books and magazines in different languages, the Internet with forums and databases, there are excellent specialists and have their own common sense. Both in Germany and in Holland this is taught since school years. This develops the independence of thinking and the need for constant study. If this is not the case, backward and false views and practices reign for decades.

I all this is what. Unfortunately, in our Russian community among midwives and parents, the habit of checking everything and keeping abreast of modern knowledge is not common. Many also trust authorities too much. To think: we still have doctors and midwives "treating" edema in pregnant women, believing that this is the very dangerous for the life of the mother and child, gestosis and that, by removing swelling, they will help the woman. They apparently think that excess fluid is the root of the problem. Meanwhile, everything is just a FALL. The whole world knows for a long time that the swelling of pregnant women is not dangerous and as a symptom of pathology is unreliable, that gestosis can be without swelling and then it is much worse that restricting pregnant women to drinking, eating and salt is not a preventive measure, but a dangerous measure, , diet prohibitive - not pregnant bellies matter.

And why, in fact, you have to believe it? Correctly, do not believe, you just need to understand the physiology. That is, to understand how the body works and how it works and on what mechanism the disease develops. Then you yourself will understand what is good and what is bad.

Recently, a group of reputable medical professionalsabstracts of 260 articles published in the American medical journal "Surgery, Gynecology and Obstetrics" for 1935 - 1999. It turned out that half of the "firmly established medical facts and theories over 45 years passed into the category of" mistakes of the past. " In another study, 474 abstracts of articles on liver diseases published in the journals Lancet and Gastroenterology from 1945 to 1999 were reviewed. And here, too, for 45 years, half of medical knowledge has become obsolete. The famous British neurologist John Hugliffs Jackson (1836-1911) once said: "To expel a false idea from medicine, you need 50 years, and to confirm the right - all one hundred." "Science and Life" 1/2007

Water is the key element of pregnancy

It is known that the human body is about 80 percent water. Hence, water is the most important component of our body.

With a normal pregnancy, water is recruited andthe greater, still as much as 6-8 liters, 4-6 of which is outside the tissues of the body, and 2-3 - in the tissues. By the end of pregnancy about 3 liters of water accumulate the baby, placenta and amniotic fluid. Another three liters go to increase the volume of the mother's blood, to increase and increase the uterus and mammary glands. Such a flood! We will notice: it so is arranged, that water was much. Whether it's like someone or not.

The volume of the liquid part of the blood begins to increasevery early, with 8 weeks of pregnancy. But, for example, the number of red blood cells is only from 18 weeks. It seems that the accumulation of fluid is a phenomenon of primary importance, since the body begins to deal with this so early. And the truth: because how liquid and fluid will be blood, so quickly it will be able to deliver nutrients for the growth of the baby, the uterus, the mammary glands. And fill the whole new vascular system with blood, only if it will be a lot.

However, the vascular system of the child and the entire water space around it is filled not with maternal blood or plasma. Then where does the baby take the liquid from?

Placenta - the key character of pregnancy

So, we came to the most important momentphysiology of pregnancy. Of the maternal blood, everything that is needed, first and foremost water, is extracted by another major character of pregnancy, which is not well known, a temporary organ of the child called the placenta.

The placenta begins to form like this. Approximately on the 7th day after conception, having passed a long way through the fallopian tube, the embryo appears in the uterus. The embryo is the future child in a vial whose shell is covered with villi. When the vesicle is at the uterus wall, it is attached to it by its villi first, and then gets to work: the villi reconstructs the uterine vessels so that they become enlarged, full-blooded, and around the villi form the mother's mini-pool, which is constantly and quickly renewed . In this case, the blood of the child in the villi and the mother's blood in the pool do not mix. Approximately how the germinating seed sucks up the roots of the soil with water and everything necessary, but not sand, clay and other large objects. "You provide us with building materials, and we know what and how to build," as if the baby embryo and the seed of the plant speak.

The seed is rooted in the soil only by the fact that ithe will be offered. It can not cause rain, turn to the underground source. Not so with the placenta: it is not a simple pump that pumps what it gives. No, she, according to Michel Auden's apt expression, is a "baby's lawyer," who also knows how to intervene in the physiology of the mother's body, and "squeeze" out of him what the kid needs. And if the blood pressure (and it is provided by water) in the placenta and the child begins to fall, she will do everything to get the necessary fluid.

The placenta grows and develops, for herconstruction also needs nutrients from maternal blood, and by 18 weeks its formation as a whole ends. That is, by the time when the child's rapid growth begins, there must already be a powerful working placenta.

So, remember two facts. First: the amount of water in the mother's blood determines the amount of water in the baby, and how well the building materials will flow to it. Second: the placenta as an active organ-advocate of the child in case of shortage will manipulate the mother's body so as to get enough nutrition and water. Up to conflicts.

Two more important substances - salt and protein

The reader already understands why for a normala pregnancy requires a lot of water. Now, in order to understand where and how problems with "water supplies" may arise, we need to understand something else from physiology.

Water for admission to the child should be exactlyin blood, in blood vessels (and not, say, under the skin, in tissues, body cavities). What does it hold in the vessels? Two substances, and they pregnant women and midwives need to remember hard: salt and protein albumin.

With their shortage, water will escape from the vessels into the tissues, causing the TEAs. Vessels in such a situation, like leaky hoses: how much water you pour in - you will not get the right pressure, and everything around is wet.

Albumin synthesizes the mother's liver from the amino acids of the food that the mother eats. So, it is important what she eats and how her liver works.

Salt - comes with food, can be savedkidneys; salt metabolism is also regulated by certain hormones. Remember from physiology that the volume of the liquid part of the blood begins to increase very early, since the eighth week? And now remember that you want at the same time pregnant: pickled cucumbers, sour cabbage, herring, salted tomatoes.

Gestosis: dehydration and thickening of the blood

Now you have all the necessary data forIn order to understand what is happening with gestosis. There is a conflict between what demands the mother of the placenta exerts on the body, and what the mother can provide her without harming herself. There are three possible situations:

my mother does not give enough nutritioussubstances and water, for example, with poor nutrition and inadequate drinking (including non-physiological diets), liver disorders, vascular defects of the uterus or its walls, common diseases);
the placenta (it refers to the child's body) can not suck up enough of the same nutrients and water (irregular placental structure);
mixed version - both together.
The common for all cases is that in gestosis, there is always (!) A lack of water and albumin in the bloodstream, that is, there is always dehydration and thickening of the blood.

Because of the thickening of blood pressure in the vesselsinsufficient, the blood does not go fast enough, and the placenta manipulates the mother's body, causing constriction, a spasm of blood vessels in her body, to increase the blood pressure. The pressure increases, and at first blood comes to the child more. But this very spasm eventually damages the blood vessels. Platelets and fibrin filaments are precipitated on the sites of damage - blood coagulation products. This, as well as the very thickening of the blood and the clotting characteristics during pregnancy, leads to the formation of thrombi (!) In the vessels throughout the mother's body. Particularly affected in this case are those organs for which the load during pregnancy is increased: the liver and kidneys. Also, the thickening of the blood leads to poor nutrition and hypoxia in the child. A good blood supply can be compared to a skillfully organized traffic, a bad one - with ubiquitous traffic jams, when we say: "Yes ... the whole city is worth it". Not that it costs - it moves, but how inefficient! Good blood circulation is like good roads.

So, it is clear where they come from under gestosisincreased pressure (attempts to preserve the baby's nutrition), edema (due to a lack of albumin, water leaves the tissues) and a large amount of protein in the urine (damaged kidney vessels miss what they should not).

It is also clear that those who are under threat will be those whopoorly eat and drink a little, and those who have large children, twins, triplets (due to increased needs). By the way, the fact that extensive physiological edemas develop more often in women who wear large children is a well-known fact.

The first sign of gestosis may be an increasethe amount of hemoglobin in the total blood test after 18-20 weeks of gestation. (Normally, hemoglobin should decrease slightly). More eloquent is the growth in the hematocrit. Both of them will talk about the thickening of the blood, that is, the lack of water.

Anyone who studies the mechanism of the onset of gestosis, easily derive the necessary diet. It is necessary to drink plenty of water (2 to 2.5 liters), there is often protein food (this is not only meat!), Not forgetting about carbohydrates (because when there is a shortage of the latter, the proteins are burned as fuel) and fats (they - and fuel, and building material, in particular for the baby's brain). The diet should be balanced, one of the components should not prevail at the expense of another. Salt can not be limited, because it keeps the liquid in the blood. Clear and logical.

The same concerns a diet for the prevention of gestosis, because while the placenta is being formed, building materials are needed to form a "strong root system". If the placenta has already formed defective, then it is necessary to place those few "roots" in the nutrient solution to facilitate its work. By any means - both natural and medicinal.

Treatment of preeclampsia - increased fluidity of blood, improving the baby's nutrition, reducing the critically increased pressure in the mother. In this case, judge for yourself, is it appropriate to give drugs that increase fluidity of the blood (for example, kurantil, aspirin) without prescribing copious drinking? Is it possible to dispense with droppers with saline solution and albumin without normal drinking and eating? Yes, if you can, why?

In our time it became also known thatEssential assistance in the prevention and treatment of gestosis may be provided by calcium and magnesium preparations, as well as omega-3 and -6 fatty acids (fish oil, linseed oil and evening primrose oil). The benefits of these substances have been proven by scientific research. We easily understand why, if we recall that gestosis is a conflict. Calcium is a building substance for all cells, for bones, it is absorbed only in the presence of magnesium. Omega-3 and -6 fatty acids are building substances for the child's brain, and the brain's nutrition in the person during the intrauterine development is a priority. If the mother of these substances is not enough - the placenta "tries" is necessary for the child, which will result in maternal disorders in her own body.

If the situation can not be corrected neither by diet, nor bymedicines, if the child suffers from a shortage of food and oxygen, the mother - from hypertension and damage to the liver and kidneys, the only way to treat is delivery.

Now let's return to the question of edema, because, as I said, it is the accumulation of fluid in the body (rapid weight gain, swelling) that we are taking for gestosis.

"There is no conclusive evidence thata significant fluid retention in the body or even the appearance of obvious swelling is a factor leading to the development of preeclampsia [gestosis. - VN] or require the assignment of the patient to the group at increased risk of developing pre-eclampsia. " M. Enkin et al. Guidelines on effective care for pregnancy and childbirth, St. Petersburg, Petropolis, 2003, p. 124

Proceeding from the foregoing it is clear that swelling withgestosis can be. Fear should especially cause swelling, which grows rapidly, spreading above the level of the shins, to the abdomen and upper body. BUT. Edema even with severe gestosis may not be! In a woman suffering from gestosis (that is, known to be dehydrated), the absence of swelling is more dangerous, because of the edematous fluid, water can return to the vessels if there becomes more salt and albumin, and without edema and with insufficient drinking, there is simply nowhere to take it.

It is important to note that with the combination of hypertension andedema or hypertension and accelerate weight gain in pregnant women, the incidence of intrauterine fetal death is lower than with isolated hypertension. Pre-eclampsia without edema ("dry pre-eclampsia") has long been known as an unfavorable variant of this pathology, accompanied by a higher incidence of maternal mortality and fetal death compared to that of pre-eclampsia combined with edema. M. Enkin et al. Guidelines for effective care for pregnancy and childbirth, St. Petersburg, Petropolis, 2003, p.81

Gestosis almost never flows without an increaseblood pressure, this is the most important point. Usually, in addition, there is also a protein in the urine (the amount of it is variable: then more, then less, then it is, then it is not). Edema in the modern clinical obstetrics is excluded from the criteria for diagnosing gestosis. Because too often during pregnancy they happen, and their presence or absence of anything about the severity of gestosis does not speak!

Let us also mention where different types of edema come from during pregnancy.

If we take into account the amount of water thatthe norm accumulates during pregnancy, it is not surprising that the swelling of the ankles and tibia occurs at the end of the term in most women, especially at the end of the day. In the late term, this is facilitated by a large uterus: it presses on the lower vena cava and prevents the outflow of venous blood from the veins of the lower extremities. Most often, small swelling of the legs is a sign of sufficient blood dilution.

Edema can be of venous origin. In this case, they predominate on the legs, strengthen with prolonged standing and walking, accompanied by a peculiar marbling of the skin of the legs. Often, such pregnant women in the genus through the female line have varicose veins.

Another type of edema is constitutional. Women of hypersthenic constitution: low, full, with rounded forms, small brushes and feet, - gain more weight than slender ones. If such a woman picks up 25 kg for a pregnancy, she will have considerable swelling on her legs, but she will not have any blood pressure increase, no increase in the hemoglobin level of the blood, no protein in the urine - this will mean that her edema is constitutional, no gestosis here and there is no trace.

All these swelling of the pregnant (except for cases of gestosis)may not be aesthetic, and unpleasant, but they are not dangerous - once; they are not treated with dehydration (because it is dangerous) - two. I leave out the edema with congestive heart failure, with severe liver and kidney disease, the thyroid gland and other pathologies that are not associated with pregnancy. Women about the existence of such a pathology usually know before pregnancy and are observed by the relevant specialists.

Swelling too often happens in healthypregnant women, to serve as a hallmark [gestosis - VN], so they are no longer considered as a diagnostic indicator of this condition. Williams Obstetrics, 22nd edition, 2005

Accumulation of water and blood loss

That's why you should suffer that flood, which carries a pregnancy, and do not prescribe dehydrating medications and diets: a woman in labor will have blood loss. I'm not even talking about bleeding (although this happens), just about normal blood loss, after which it will have to be restored.

Now call for help common sense: what woman better will suffer blood loss and quickly recover: the one who has a lot of blood, or the one who has not enough? The one who lost the thick concentrated blood, or the one that lost the divorced blood? What will lose more formative elements and nutrients?

A normally well-fed and not dehydrated woman suffers even considerable blood loss surprisingly easily.

Headaches and dehydration

Headaches in the first trimester are commonalmost the same as nausea. Very often they go away after the expectant mother begins to drink abundantly water, and there is also enough protein and carbohydrate food.

Now it is necessary to briefly list all those restrictions in food and drink, which now apply to pregnant women.

The most common is that it is recommendedup to now obstetrician-gynecologists in women's consultations: salt restriction (not salt) and drinking (two glasses a day) with edema or rapid weight gain. We will not repeat, the above explains why this recommendation should be considered obsolete and anti-physiological.

Recommendation is smaller, so that the child "does notto feed ", as a small baby is easier to give birth. Usually it is given together with advice or council to drink less that the edemas was not. This belief contradicts physiology and is fraught with violations of water metabolism and nutrition in the mother and child. Already in the 1930s, several special diets were proposed to limit the weight gain of a child (for example, Dr. Prohovnik's diet with a restriction of drinking to 300-400 g and others). At the same time, they refused to use such diets, because "their effect is doubtful, and compliance is difficult." And, we add, it is not useful, and for some - it is dangerous.

Diet to prevent allergies in the baby. Studies show that the appointment of a diet with the exception of allergens does not significantly reduce the risk of giving birth to an allergic child. Such a diet can adversely affect the nutrition of the mother or baby in the womb.

Fast. Religious posts do not (or should not have) the goal of causing depletion or disease. If the mother can carefully plan her diet so that she can get everything she needs from lean food, then let her fast. In practice, we, the midwives, often see a large family with a mother who gives birth and feeds continuously, and they eat all the sandwiches and cereals, cookies, bread and sweet. Unfortunately, eating disorders in believing families are more likely a rule than an exception. It is not surprising that pregnancy and childbirth in this case sometimes take place uneasily, and postnatal recovery is long.

Diet of Laman. This new Moscow trend is a kind of dry land. The diet is to not consume water, but only a bound liquid (the one that is contained in vegetables and fruits, juices and other foods). In direct text, it is to obstruct the body's access to water. Here it should be noted that the German doctor-naturopath Henry Laman, who lived and worked in the late XIX - early XX century, introduced five different diets for patients with various diseases. I could not find any data on how he recommended his diets to pregnant women. Most likely, given the great popularity of this doctor, Russian doctors recommended edemas pregnant Laman diet with dryness according to the principle "what if it helps?" Obviously, the edema decreased. The possible consequences of such dehydration were mentioned above. In the early twentieth century, doctors did not know enough about the physiology of pregnancy, about where the swelling comes from and how they are associated with gestosis. And we know. Therefore, the appointment of the Laman diet to pregnant women seems to us anti-physiological, and for the unhealthy and malnourished it is dangerous.

Self-observance of the diet for the purpose of "notget well, do not get fat. " The goal is good. But the remedy should be just such that the provision of the mother and child with proteins, useful fats and carbohydrates was full. In order not to become fat, you need to limit the refined sugar, products from white flour, purchased baked sweets, animal fats and exclude trans-isomers of fatty acids. And choose products with a low glycemic index. And move at least an hour every day. That's all. It is necessary to eat well and enough. We want a healthy mother and child, and not an aspen waist right after delivery?

Application of diuretics. Diuretics for pregnant women with edema are now rarely prescribed, and only those obstetricians who are completely unaware of current scientific data. But the purpose of "diuretic herbs" is widespread and widespread. Use bearberry, cranberry leaf. This, perhaps, is less dangerous than tablets, but in this case completely "out of place."

The doctor and midwife, as well as most pregnant womenknow that pregnancy is not a disease, but one of the natural conditions. Therefore, all of them first of all should be interested in three natural questions:

the way of life of the pregnant woman;
the fact that she eats and drinks;
whether she is happy, and if not, why.
And only then to delve into everything else. Because ninety-five percent of the problems among ninety-five pregnant women out of a hundred will grow from these three spheres. Because sometimes it's very simple and you just have to ask: "Have not you tried it? And drink? "

Obstetricians and parents will be helped by the image of a flower. What does he need to "prosper"? The same and pregnant, and the child. Soil (food), watering (water), sun (sunlight and love), air, loosening (movement), weeding (physical and mental hygiene).

And what is absolutely not worth doinga professional, designed to help a pregnant woman, is to "load" her - with her fears, false ideas, unnecessary treatment. And in particular, dry thinking!

Why, in fact, the reader, you owe meBelieve? You do not owe anything to anyone, including public health. Believe it or not. Better yet, check it out. Conduct your own study of the subject (below, I cite sources for your convenience). I wish you fruitful research work - both in this case, and in all others!

Hematocrit - the ratio of the volume of the formed elements of blood to the volume of the plasma; gives an idea of the total volume of erythrocytes, characterizes the degree of condensation or dilution of blood.

Hypertension arterial (hypertensio; hyper- + lat tensio tension) - increased hydrostatic pressure in arterial vessels of the body. In everyday language is called hypertension.

Trans-isomers of fatty acids. Fatty acid isomers are organic acids having the same chemical formula, but differing in the spatial arrangement of individual atoms (i.e., geometry). In the structure of trans-meters, hydrogen atoms are located on opposite sides of the carbon-carbon double bond, in the structure of cis-isomers - one at a time. For this reason, the chains of cis-isomers of poly- and monounsaturated fatty acids are curved, chains of trans-isomers are straight. The geometry of molecules affects their biological function.

The glycemic index of a product is itsthe ability to increase blood sugar. Products with a high glycemic index (for example, sugar) provide a rapid increase in blood sugar levels. They are easily digested and absorbed by the body. Products with a low glycemic index (for example, cereals) slower raise the level of sugar in the blood, because the carbohydrates contained in these products are not immediately absorbed.

Preeclampsia is a common name for conditions, caused by pregnancy, accompanied by high blood pressure (hypertension), the presence of a significant amount of protein in the urine and sometimes swelling. Gestosis may occur in the second half of pregnancy and in the first week after childbirth (mainly during the first 48 hours). Heavy forms are accompanied by convulsions (eclampsia).

I want to highlight one of the questions that came in response to this article.

Yes, the article really stands out. My doctors panicked when edema began (at week 27) and was immediately diagnosed - gestosis at an early stage ... It's going to be treated like everything else and in light of the fact that I had an acute pyelonephritis before pregnancy ... now I'm afraid ... and I do not I know what to do - listen to them or not.

Let me once again put the emphasis on the topic"Gestosis". A real, dangerous to the health of mom and toddler is the problem of the placenta! This is an abnormal or insufficient development of the placenta! And the placenta refers to the body of the child. Gestosis - not a problem of the vessels, kidneys or psyche of the mother! If a mother has or had once had a kidney disease, then it does not automatically follow from her that she will have a gestosis. And more, remember, please: edemas are excluded from signs of gestosis in modern medicine. Because they can be and have nothing to do with gestosis, and on the other hand, with severe gestosis, they may be absent.

Look at the plant: for what reason it can grow very poorly? Either the root of it is initially weak and poorly developed (this is the problem of the plant, that is, the child, and there's nothing to be done, it is necessary to save), or the soil and watering are bad (this is the problem of the earth, that is, of the mother, the soil can be fertilized, loosened and watered ). And can the root of the initially healthy plant develop poorly due to malnutrition. Yes! If the mother has serious diseases of blood vessels, kidneys, liver, if she smokes, almost nothing to eat and does not drink, it can provoke the development of gestosis. Because the placenta, this child's advocate, requires food at all costs, even at the cost of a mother's illness. And can there be gestosis because the child is big or does the mother have twins? Yes, if the mother's body can not provide enough food for the children without harming themselves. Is it clear from this how important it is to eat properly and not to smoke? However, I repeat once again: severe gestosis is a congenital defect of the placenta, it can not be cured by nutrition or medicines, it is necessary to give birth to a child and take care of "outside mom". But a lot of variants of "gestosis" due to poor nutrition of the mother are treated easily and quickly - call this method of treatment yourself.

From what you write, it is difficult for me to conclude, whether you have gestosis or not. What kind of swelling did you start with: swelling of the ankles (normal) or swelling of the legs, abdomen, face (bad)? Is the child growing well (norm), or moving, "beating" almost constantly (badly)? Is the level of hemoglobin falling down (a good sign, does he say enough blood in the blood vessels)? Really serious signs of gestosis are: increased blood pressure (without this there is almost never a gestosis, I wrote about the level of its increase earlier), the appearance of protein in the urine and the delay in the growth of the child. If, despite your excellent nutrition and healthy lifestyle, there are bad signs, doctors are really "worried" about the case. If there are no bad signs - do not worry, do not pay attention to the diagnosis, just check the pressure and urine regularly. In any circumstances - eat right, drink a lot, move and tune in for the best!

5 reasons to drink water during pregnancy

With the development of science, we are increasingly inclined to trust newfangled pills, complex research and procedures, rather than using simple and natural ways to support the body.
With the development of science, we are increasingly inclined to trustnewfangled tablets, complex research and procedures, rather than using simple and natural ways to support the body. During pregnancy, the excitement for medical innovations increases at times, because every future mother would like to give her even the unborn baby the best. Sometimes this position leads to the use of a huge number of drugs "from all", and in fact the five main problems of pregnancy can be solved with the help of clean drinking water.

At once we will make a reservation, it is a question of qualitative, which has undergone a post-cleaning of the liquid, and not a "soup" made of salts of heavy metals, bacteria and other contaminants. Using a drinking water filter at home and consuming clean water of at least 1.5 liters a day, the expectant mother can prevent problems such as swelling of the pregnant, exacerbation of pyelonephritis and cystitis, prevent problems associated with blood thickening and intrauterine growth retardation , as well as control the body weight.

Swelling of the pregnant, appearing in the thirdtrimester, most often due to the accumulation of fluid in the subcutaneous tissue due to its lack for the functioning of the body. The body as it can protect itself from dehydration, and locks the remnants of water in this way. Observance of drinking and with it the salt regime, allows for a few days to normalize the work of the body, and withdraw liquid from the "bins of the motherland."

Exacerbation of pyelonephritis and cystitis in the backgroundpregnancy is associated with the pressure of the growing uterus on the renal pelvis and urinary tract. Stagnating, urine becomes a breeding ground for bacteria that cause inflammation and can threaten infection of membranes. With sufficient water consumption, the concentration of decay products in the urine significantly decreases, the kidneys are washed more often, which avoids the multiplication of bacteria.

Dense blood is a scourge of pregnant women, fordilution of this strong antiaggregants are used, because too hard blood can cause a blood clot in the placenta and death of the fetus. In cases not aggravated by serious problems with hemostasis, it is possible to do without medicines, only by increasing the amount of water drunk daily to 2 liters. Blood is the body's basic fluid, which is in an intimate relationship with the water balance.

Or a delay in intrauterine development -such a diagnosis put the kids that they are not gaining weight from the mother in the tummy. Most often this is due to insufficient intake of nutrients to the baby. The cause of this can be a worsening of blood circulation in the "placenta - child" system because of too thick blood. Water will help to establish this mechanism, as a natural dilution, because all drugs that are used from this pathology, are aimed specifically at reducing the viscosity of the blood.

Appetite of pregnant women, about which so manylegends, can easily be controlled by drinking water. Instead of sweeping away everything that badly lies in the fridge, you just need to drink a glass of water at the first appearance of hunger, and only then start eating. Such a system will help saturate faster.

By the way, with the help of additional water, you can solveand another "pregnant" problem - skin itch, which appears in the second half of pregnancy. The fact is that during this period the integument is particularly sensitive to external stimuli, one of which is chlorine. Virtually completely get rid of the itch help, the so-called shower filters, built-in cartridges remove up to 90% of chlorine from the water, making water treatments a pleasant experience even with hypersensitive skin during pregnancy!
