I all this is what. Unfortunately, in our Russian community among midwives and parents, the habit of checking everything and keeping abreast of modern knowledge is not common. Many also trust authorities too much. To think: we still have doctors and midwives "treating" edema in pregnant women, believing that this is the very dangerous for the life of the mother and child, gestosis and that, by removing swelling, they will help the woman. They apparently think that excess fluid is the root of the problem. Meanwhile, everything is just a FALL. The whole world knows for a long time that the swelling of pregnant women is not dangerous and as a symptom of pathology is unreliable, that gestosis can be without swelling and then it is much worse that restricting pregnant women to drinking, eating and salt is not a preventive measure, but a dangerous measure, , diet prohibitive - not pregnant bellies matter.

Water is the key element of pregnancy

So, it is clear where they come from under gestosisincreased pressure (attempts to preserve the baby's nutrition), edema (due to a lack of albumin, water leaves the tissues) and a large amount of protein in the urine (damaged kidney vessels miss what they should not).

By the way, the fact that extensive physiological edemas develop more often in women who wear large children is a well-known fact.

More eloquent is the growth in the hematocrit. Both of them will talk about the thickening of the blood, that is, the lack of water.
Anyone who studies the mechanism of the onset of gestosis,easily derive the necessary diet. Gestosis almost never flows without an increaseblood pressure, this is the most important point. Edema in the modern clinical obstetrics is excluded from the criteria for diagnosing gestosis. Let us also mention where different types of edema come from during pregnancy.
If we take into account the amount of water thatthe norm accumulates during pregnancy, it is not surprising that the swelling of the ankles and tibia occurs at the end of the term in most women, especially at the end of the day. In the late term, this is facilitated by a large uterus: it presses on the lower vena cava and prevents the outflow of venous blood from the veins of the lower extremities. Most often, small swelling of the legs is a sign of sufficient blood dilution.
Edema can be of venous origin. In this case, they predominate on the legs, strengthen with prolonged standing and walking, accompanied by a peculiar marbling of the skin of the legs. Often, such pregnant women in the genus through the female line have varicose veins.
Another type of edema is constitutional. Women of hypersthenic constitution: low, full, with rounded forms, small brushes and feet, - gain more weight than slender ones. Headaches and dehydration

Diet to prevent allergies in the baby. Studies show that the appointment of a diet with the exception of allergens does not significantly reduce the risk of giving birth to an allergic child. Such a diet can adversely affect the nutrition of the mother or baby in the womb.
Fast. Religious posts do not (or should not have) the goal of causing depletion or disease. If the mother can carefully plan her diet so that she can get everything she needs from lean food, then let her fast. In practice, we, the midwives, often see a large family with a mother who gives birth and feeds continuously, and they eat all the sandwiches and cereals, cookies, bread and sweet. Unfortunately, eating disorders in believing families are more likely a rule than an exception. It is not surprising that pregnancy and childbirth in this case sometimes take place uneasily, and postnatal recovery is long.
Diet of Laman. This new Moscow trend is a kind of dry land. The diet is to not consume water, but only a bound liquid (the one that is contained in vegetables and fruits, juices and other foods). Here it should be noted that the German doctor-naturopath Henry Laman, who lived and worked in the late XIX - early XX century, introduced five different diets for patients with various diseases.
