Traumeel edema

Pharmachologic effect:
Traumeel C - complex homotoxic agentwith anti-inflammatory, analgesic, antiexudative, hemostatic, regenerating and immunomodulating action. Traumeel C quickly and effectively stops hemorrhages and swelling of soft tissues at the site of injury, increases the tone of the vessels and reduces their permeability, relieves pain syndrome, stabilizes the rheological parameters of the blood. In this regard, traumeel C refers to the means of first choice for the treatment of soft tissue injuries (trauma, burns, surgery, etc.).

It is also used in the postoperative periodthanks to the high regenerative abilities. The mechanism of action of the drug is related to the ability of traumeel C to trigger a cascade of auxiliary immunological reactions by activating a clone of Th3 lymphocytes. Due to this, the drug causes a balance between anti-inflammatory and pro-inflammatory cytokines in the inflammation focus and reduces the following classical symptoms: edema, pain, redness, dysfunction. In combination with glucocorticosteroids, the drug allows to reduce their dosage simultaneously with the increase in the effectiveness of complex treatment.
